I know we are hoping for a commitment soon.
However, I wonder if this is the year when the majority of kids sign in the spring vs. signing this fall.
You may be able to take official visits, if you wait until spring. I would think most players would want to be wined and dined on official visits. The only reason to commit now, is that you are worried the scholarship might be filled by someone else. That is not much of an issue when a school has several scholarship openings.

But on the other hand, more top 150's have committed this year by this time, than any  other year in history. I certainly thought they would have had a commit by now(and thinking MAYBE the staff felt they would have had at least one as well).

Any indication Marquette is still looking at anyone besides a potential Mane surprise for the 2 open scholarships?

At the very least, still could use a project or grad transfer big, IMO!
Looks like we can forget about Mane

Here is a quote from Javaughn Hannah who MU offered in the 2022 class

Marquette: "I love Marquette, ever since I was in middle school. I played AAU in Wisconsin when I was younger and went to Marquette games. They have great coaches. I have a great relationship with the coaches. I love the campus too."

Speaking of Mane, The Athletic's NBA Draft guy put out his new top 100 for the draft and planted him at #95.
Markus was #61, fwiw.

Surprisingly athletic, decent defender, known as a sharpshooter but has a really funky looking shot. His shooting form will probably need to be broken down and rebuilt from the ground up. Kind of kid you expect to go to Bucky and be a solid starter by the time he's a senior. Impoverished man's Sam Dekker. We are only his third high major offer with Arizona State and DePaul being the other 2.

Thought the same thing. There's no way he's consistently getting that shot off at the high major level. Very little lift and a low release.

I believe "sneaky athletic" is the proper phrase.
Also, gym rat/coach's kid.

ive played against and with him in open gyms and other things, he's got a real good jump shot and he's a decent defender. I expect he is low on the priority chart for the class of 2021

Nice to offer, but still have to figure out 2021 with no commitments yet.  Coaches must be watching a ton of film this year since there is no
summer ball.

Likely his top 30 list is coming out
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.
