Some of the other coaches/teams there were also watching their commits on other teams. Illinois was there for Adam Miller (Morgan Park) Wake Forest, etc...but also watched Holmes. David Grace recruits Holmes for Vandy. .....Stan recruits Holmes for MU, The tourney is in Killings' recruiting geography. (Lewis is playing in the same tourney, a Killings' recruit)

I was the 4th person to contribute to this thread from the very start....and through the years....so of course "NEVER" is false, fake, par for the course.

It is true I don't wander deeply into the recruiting thread, others are more passionate in that area.  Considering we only land a small percentage of kids (nature of the beast), I prefer to understand more about the kids that actually said yes...though the Mane disparity in rankings I found interesting. I've asked some fairly straight forward questions here that others may also want to know the answers to.  I've noticed Garcia's team got beaten up pretty good by Eden Prairie, the #1 team in the state....Prior Lake being #2.  They lost again yesterday by a large amount, and was curious if it is mostly a one man show or not.  I don't know the answer, thus the question.

I'll wait for someone with actual knowledge to address my question....thank you.  JayBee or someone closer to MN high school hoops.

They're good - but this is Minnesota. Probably second best team in their Section behind Eden Prairie and a top 10 - maybe near top 5 - in their Class. Lost quite a bit from last year's team, including a PG Sam Nissen - getting minutes now at Truman State, and 6'10" big man Robert Jones who's playing for Denver. Having Jones and Dawson was a lot for many teams to handle match up wise, so it's a bit different this year... (although Robert's little bro 2021 Malcolm is on the team).
