The arrogance of Indiana board is unbelievable. So many guys cant even pthaom a kid picking MU over IU. Like its they cant even process it.

Link?

He's going to MU. Congrats guys. I'd say that he saw the loaded Frontcourt that we have at Indiana and said "no thanks." He obviously wants to be a day 1 starter, and I can't blame him for that. I wish him well in Milwaukee. He's a good kid.
Yeah I mean, how would a kid like Garcia EVER compete with that?! ;D ;D ;D

MU needs to step up the pace of recruiting . The Badgers just announced a well regarded 5 man class for 2020 and already have 3  solid commits in place for 2021. I know Whiskey is  not in the same conference, but we play them each year and it is an important measuring stick for our program.

Would like to see us make a hard push for Zaire and Alex Antetokounmpo . We have quite a few openings left and need to start filling a few of them with elite athletes.  Having nothing to lose by going after either of these two guys.  Neither one is going to come in right away and change the trajectory of program, but with some work and time both could be very solid contributors. Alex is now about 6-8 with a huge wingspan. Wouldn't hurt to have the huge social media following these guys have focused on our program for a few years either.

You'd be puking all over this board if MU's 2020 class looked remotely similar to Wisconsin's.

Even in defeat and while sending "well wishes", you still come across as kind of a huge prick.
Pretty impressive feat.

For those who know Dawson's game, is he a sure-fire 100% one-and-done?  75%  Likely two-year player?
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

Hate to hedge but I think we'll have a better idea after his senior year in high school.  I haven't seen anything that indicates he's a one-and-done at this point of his development.  A lot can change in the next 12 months but at best, I think it's 50/50 he'd be a one-and-done.

Karim Mane, on the other hand, he's very much a guy that could be one-and-done.

Other than the ranking, I do not know a lot about Garcia.  However, based upon the rankings, I'd say that most don't see him as a one and done.

Only one source to take it FWIW, but no Garcia.  Notables include: (former target) Jalen Johnson #3, Karim Mane #23, Jalen Suggs #26, (former target) DJ Carton #35, (former target) Xavier Tillman #42, (former target) Rocket Watts #51, (former target) Q Grimes #53, (Herman Cain wet dream) Alex Antentokounmpo #57.

Dear lord a backcourt of 6'4" Koby with 6'5" Mane and 6'3" Symir/Elliott is as close to the dream scenario as possible. Let's do this! Why can't us??

Lmao @ Indiana fans. Those clowns can absolutely kick rocks - easily one of the most obnoxious fan bases out there.

Also, lmao @ Wisconsin's recruiting class. Just take a look at who they have brought in vs. who we have brought in/hope to bring in. We are NOT recruiting at the same level and its not even close. Oso + Lewis are way more highly regarded than all but 1 (and even more well regarded than that 1) of their "great" 5 man class. Not to even mention Dawson or Mane.

Both Koby and Kane are from Canada. Is there any chance that they know each other?

They played hockey together as youths and now ice fishing buddies.
They may curl as well not 100 on that tho.

I'd have no problem with Marquette taking Zaire.

I just hope people are willing to accept he is a top 125-150 player and not a NBA Hall of Famer like his father.
This research report gives a fair assessment of his skill sets. I think he would fit in well as a feeder to the two guys we have signed.

If Dawson commits, Wojo has a chance to add to an already special class if he can get Karim Mane to come to college and not enter the draft.

Mane and a traditional transfer PG would be pretty great for helping the backcourt (to plan for the absence of Mane and Kobe). While I am excited about Hunter (should he commit), I would prefer an upperclassman PG to pair with him.

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Mane laid out his top ten:

Alabama, California, Georgetown, Illinois, Kansas, Marquette, Maryland, Memphis, Michigan State, and Wake Forest

MU has a solid shot at this recruit. hh

DePaul has been recruiting better than Illinois lately. And that's not even a joke, just got a commitment from Ahamad Bynum from Simeon.

During a time out, Wisky played a video of their 5 recruits including AAU highlights. They then quoted their ranking as "8th," to which my friend said: how is that possible, not everyone has committed yet.

He might fit in well and he might have absolutely no interest in Marquette.
