I think it's pretty obvious. You guys recruited him the longest. It's closer to his parents to visit. More immediate playing time, although he wouldn't ride the bench anywhere. I see the better fit. Common sense.

If so "common sense", why haven't you been saying it all along?

FKfootball

I will say that Andrew Slater picked Jordan Geronimo to Virginia and then 2 days later Geronimo picked Indiana. These CB guys usually don't know anything but I still feel it's Marquette because it just makes sense.

Because I've had more time to think about it. I try not to say things in the heat of the moment.

He's going to MU. Congrats guys. I'd say that he saw the loaded Frontcourt that we have at Indiana and said "no thanks." He obviously wants to be a day 1 starter, and I can't blame him for that. I wish him well in Milwaukee. He's a good kid.

So now he is picking Marquette according to you because of the loaded IU frontcourt.  Would you be available to teach a consistency class?

Meyer picked Marquette now too
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Dude seriously, no one cares about the IU perspective on this.  No need to come around here any longer.

So maybe they were in town to tell Penny and Archie it's MU, hey?

MU needs to step up the pace of recruiting . The Badgers just announced a well regarded 5 man class for 2020 and already have 3  solid commits in place for 2021. I know Whiskey is  not in the same conference, but we play them each year and it is an important measuring stick for our program.

Would like to see us make a hard push for Zaire and Alex Antetokounmpo . We have quite a few openings left and need to start filling a few of them with elite athletes.  Having nothing to lose by going after either of these two guys.  Neither one is going to come in right away and change the trajectory of program, but with some work and time both could be very solid contributors. Alex is now about 6-8 with a huge wingspan. Wouldn't hurt to have the huge social media following these guys have focused on our program for a few years either.

You say step up recruiting and then say go after Zaire...why?  He is considered a mid major recruit, and why do that to the young man?  It would be so unfair to h8m to come to MU and live in that shadow of his dad.

Even in defeat and while sending "well wishes", you still come across as kind of a huge prick.
Pretty impressive feat.

While wisconsin is getting top 100-125 for 2021, wojo has already hsd Kendall Brown, Micah Etienne, Hunter and DaRon Holmes on campus. He's big fish hunting here. Let the Badgers get their projects.

I'd have no problem with Marquette taking Zaire.

I just hope people are willing to accept he is a top 125-150 player and not a NBA Hall of Famer like his father.

Yeah his father was ranked higher than that in the recruiting process right...

The arrogance of Indiana board is unbelievable. So many guys cant even pthaom a kid picking MU over IU. Like its they cant even process it.

Because landing Oso and Lewis, being very close on Garcia and the current leader for Mane shows a complete lack of effort
