I am a big fan of both, but if I had to choose between Hoggard and Davis, I would take Davis. His all around game (handles, shooting, finishing in traffic) seems more complete than Hoggard. Hoggard's game seems more reliant on using his superior athleticism to beat up on mediocre high school athletes. Don't get me wrong - I think Hoggard can still be great, but if I had to choose, I'd go Davis.

That being said, adding either of those two and Dawson would be a dream. I have been riding the Dawson bangwagon since day 1. Think he's going to be an absolute monster at the collegiate level.

I agree with this analysis.

Corey Evans was insistent that Garcia would sign in Spring. Now a few of his colleagues elsewhere said it would be Nov signing period and he has done a 180. So now several think Garcia will decide in the fall. We'll see.

I think that is the big takeaway--it appears that he is more likely than not going to look at Nov signing period.

Given that the rumors (unsubstantiated, but that exist nonetheless) is that Marquette is in the lead with a slight edge over IU right now, that bodes somewhat well for us. He's kept it pretty close to the vest though. A positive note is that it sounds like he is not going to make it to Hoosier Hysteria due to it being his homecoming weekend. That said, I think it comes down to getting him on campus again to seal the deal.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Ice cream truck sighting???

Does Matty have to hit a half court shot for recruits to get free ice cream?

as for the half-court shot, Selena Lott from the MU Ladies team has that covered.
plus, with Chloe Marotta, also has some of those Kid 'n Play dance moves down.

Carolina tied with Number 1 Clemson 14-14 end of 3rd. Game in Chapel Hill. Hopefully the guys on the visit are somewhere where there is no TV :)

Osiris

He is undefeated on 2020 recruits (14/14), can't be worth nothing right?

(It is a rhetorical question Jaybee)
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

wadesworld

That's awesome news. Land him and get Dawson in for a visit.

Ben Golds Five

Being able to show a recruit this is pretty special. Love the prediction, let's get him!!

I don't want to speak for Mark, but I don't think mark puts them in unless he has heard something or knows something. This HAS to be very encouraging.

This is essentially the best post-visit news we could have. Of course not a certainty, but Miller knows his stuff when it comes to MU, and when considered that it happened right after his visit...I am ecstatic.

Very exciting. Adding Davis and Garcia would make this Wojo's best class and one of the top in the country for 2020!
