Kid can score, that's for sure.
Yes he can. He looks like a very high IQ player as well.

Very good news

Probably not.  Does MU feel the need to hedge for losing out on both Davis and Hoggard?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

They have plenty of openings. Always add talent.

Still 4 scholarships available.     No guarantees.    Never stop recruiting.

It looks like we will at least get our RJ Davis visit since Pitt couldn't close the deal over the weekend. Probably safe to say the same will happen this weekend and a decision won't come until after the UNC visit.

brewcity77

UNC added 5-star big man Walker Kessler last night. They also have 5-star big Day'Ron Sharpe. I wonder if this might lessen their interest at all in Garcia. They still have room for him, though. If I count right, they have three scholarships left and the top priorities are likely guard Caleb Love and wing Ziaire Williams.

I recall reading somewhere that Davis said he'd take all of his official visits before deciding.  Granted, plenty of guys probably say the same thing and then commit early, but it's something.

Good points.  No argument with you guys, especially since your comments show that you understood my point.

There is no way to predict or guess the commitment process. Some kids will commit on or at the end of a visit.  Some a few days into the next week canceling other visits. Some take all of their visits. Oso took them all and waited a few weeks to decide. Key committed to Ohio St. canceling his MU visit. .....Ryan Kalkbrenner committed to Creighton late last night on a Sunday after 11pm.  Anything can and does happen.

Hopefully Davis visits and good things happen after that for MU.

Are you saying that Marquette lost out on Davis and Hoggard?

Nope, I never said any such thing.  In my post which you quoted, I said that IF the the apparently recent interest in Karim Mane was due to doubts by the coaching staff about getting Davis and Hoggard, THEN his recruitment would not be "a very good thing".  It seems to me that interest in Mane is recent since he is not on the first page and he has not been discussed much in this thread.  Also, although he is called a top 50 guy in the tweet, he is rated around 127 by 24/7, so I'm thinking he might be a backup plan (which MU needs to have) in case they miss out on their top two targets.
