Jalen Bridges going prep school route . Would like to sign this young man up.

Bridges dad played on a state championship team for Fairmont High School and was a couple years older than Brett Nelson when both were playing in West Virginia.  Not sure if they knew each other personally, but no doubt they were likely aware of one another in those days.

Any shot at Jalen Wilson now that Beilein left?
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I'd guess it depends on what happens with the assistants

I agree with this analysis.

Wisconsin has been on him for years now, surprised he has not committed yet to them.  I think it is all about his brother wanted to go to the same school.
See what happens.  They both could go to LaCrosse.

Per JB, was kind of a beast last weekend at tourney.

Are you serious?  Both kids will end up on scholarships in their respected sports and you're thinking they'll end up going to a D3 school paying their own way?

Johnny's  Brother Jordan , has some offers from UW GB UWM and UNLV. He is also a talented wide receiver in football. Maybe Gard and Chryst can make a deal on where the scholarship goes.

MU only offers scholarships, signing them is questionable

Stretchdeltsig

True. It seems that we offer so many offers that don't mean anything. Are our offers open ended, with no acceptance deadlines? Wish we knew more about how our offer process works.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Our offer process works the same as everyone else's.

Wojo and staff do a good job of navigating the offer process . So far they have put offers to guys that make sense . Seems like now that Jalen Johnson is out of the mix they are going deeper into the talent pool for bigs . At some point the musical chairs starts and we will see more commitments.

I found it interesting that Symir wanted to "reserve " his spot with MU . Seems like he was well advised that these offers can be fleeting .

Everyone else? The top programs select from a very small list. The rest (which includes us) throw a lot of stuff at the wall and later try to concentrate on what looks like it might stick.

I don't think that our offer process works the same as, say, Duke's or Kentucky's.

They offer players. Some of the offers are "you can say yes now" offers, others are "we're interested but I'd check with us before posting your commitment on twitter" offers. Unless you are hinting that there are extra layers because they may or may not pay their recruits I'm not sure what's different.

Thanks for the explanation. Wish there were deadlines or acceptance time periods, so staff would not waste resources chasing kids. You would think since each team can only sign so few, that kids should accept offers sooner rather than later, when rosters are full.
