Update on Xavier recruiting targets, not much overlap with ours per this research report.

No way Hurt follows Ben Johnson to Xavier.  He wants Duke, his dad wants him to play at MN with his brother.  I'm betting he will spend his year at one of those two.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

So your saying Xavier is not a reasonable compromise?

Honest question: why do you refer to run-of-the-mill write-ups as "research reports"?

Out of respect for the authors who took the time to do the thoughtful research.

We'll have to beat out the big boys to get Nico.

Without a doubt, but Stan has a relationship with him, and as MUFINY noted above, his family is close with the Baileys.

Chicago has one top 100 recruit for 2019 and he's already committed to Kansas.

I remember the good old days when they had many top 100 kids, for that matter, top 20 kids like Bo,but good solid players like Marcus Washington, Lloyd Walton, Jerome Whitehead and Robert Byrd.  Even Brian Wardle and Cordell Henry.

Brendan left as a bean pole and now he has returned from his mission as a solid young man with a quality neck. A very good sign.

He's also a head case and not anything special. Nobody is really sure how he got a Kansas offer.

Nice pickup for Hoyas.

Hoyas also got Omer Yurtseven, transfer C from NC State. He was the top player on PT's traditional transfer tracker.

Will withhold judgement for a while but I believe in the Ewing rebuild a lot more than the Mullin rebuild at this point.

They often still do, just a down year. Also I'm having trouble believing a second team all state Cordell henry was a top 100 player
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Ewing is doing a good job and has some real prospects signed up .  Although, I think Georgetown had fallen much less than St. Johns did. Ewing was smart to schedule a lot of cupcakes so he had some momentum out of the box in year one.  However, St.Johns beat Villanova and Duke this year and have had some other quality wins in the Mullin era.  So they do have some decent scalps on the wall.  The good news is the rivalry between  The Johnnies and The Hoyas has a spark of life.

Probably need to differentiate between Chicago and the burbs or Waukegan (Which is 40 miles from Chi).

Cordell's RSCI was 120.- turned out better than that, though.

About right in my book
Nice player
Below average defender
Average a/to

Big step down from the pg before him and after him

I think he was a solid PG better than #120 in his class. Not top 30, 50 or probably even 75, but better than 120. Just an opinion.
