If you click on the names it will take you to each player's bio. Their major is in the personal section.

Thanks for that.
I now see that there is no longer anyone on the team born before I graduated.

We should be very proud of Marquette's high graduation and overall high academic record compared to the dismal graduation/low academic record of the rodents.  It makes a fellow proud to be an MU graduate.

You're proud because MU's graduation rate is lower? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

For the last four graduating classes, UW basketball and general population has had a higher graduation rate than MU basketball and general population.

Plenty of reasons to attack UW. This is NOT one of them.

Last 4 graduating classes:

Basketball 67% to 30% in favor of UW.
General pop 84% to 82% in favor of UW.

You can't compare FGR's unless you take transfers into consideration.........(http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/sdsu/genrel/auto_pdf/what-is-grad-success-rate.pdf)

The NCAA developed its GSR in response to criticism that the FGR understates the academic success of athletes because the FGR method does not take into account two important factors in college athletics:
• When student-athletes transfer from an institution before graduating and is in good academic standing (perhaps to transfer to another institution for more playing time, different major, or to go pro); and
• Those student-athletes who transfer to an institution (e.g. from a community college or another 4-year college) and earn a degree.

Theo is going to be huge

Does the idea of jumping with 80+ pounds of weights (not sure how much the bar weighs) on your neck/shoulders make anybody else nervous? Seems like there would be a safer way to accomplish the same exercise.

Or perhaps the Marquette training staff has successfully taught players how to levitate.

Sample size of one but we know for a fact that compared to SMU's strength and conditioning program Marquette's is revolutionary.

Yep. We've been getting pushed around through no fault of the strength coach and if this year's freshman class reverses that trend it won't be because he's a genius. It'll be because he's finally been given something to work with.

FWIW, I know a couple of people that worked within UW's strength department who have been impressed by the equipment that MU uses.

I used to go to a gym where guys from a minor league hockey team worked out. Many of them did the same move. I never asked why and have never seen it done by anyone else.

67% for those who entered in 2009-10 (includes those who transferred but were eligible). Notice the drop in the Buzz classes...

Based on what's in the pictures, it looks to be more biomechanical testing. So, it's probably not a repeated exercise meant to increase strength/stamina/ability as much as it is setting baselines and identifying problems
