That's... Weird.

Usually these prep school transfers are kids trying to get more exposure and play against better competition, but Warren plays in one of the best conferences in Illinois.

I wonder if it's academics related?

Or NIL.

Basketball skills, my boi. His new school is in the Nike EYBL Scholastic League and has dope facilities. He'll face much better competition, and play with better people. He's graduated the normal HS level. The move makes sense.

I think we'll know if Shaka makes any new offers next week.

Looks like he watched Tisby

Earlier this week, No. 126 overall recruit Frashad Tisby completed his first official visit to Marquette. It was only fitting, then, that Golden Eagles head coach Shaka Smart was stationed front and center beside the score's table to watch Tisby and his Cross Creek squad open the weekend.

The 6-foot-6 wing, known for his aggressive style of play and fundamentally sound approach, came away impressed with what he learned about Marquette's culture during his visit. He also pointed to the team's practice habits and overall competitiveness as aspects that stood out most during his time on campus.

"It was an amazing experience meeting all of the players, the weight room coach, and the nutritionist," Tisby said of Marquette. "They showed me around campus. The players go by their standard of relationship, growth, and victory. They had a lot of energy at practice."

"The coaching staff's main thing is about the standard and how they apply relationship, growth, and victory," Tisby continued. "I talk to Coach Shaka and Neill Berry. They like to keep relationships with the parents and players, like to see growth with their players' progression during the season, and like to win in general."

May be the son of former European big man Boniface N'Dong who is originally from Senegal.

The elder N'Dong was employed by the Denver Nuggets and Philip's older brother played at Colorado Prep.

The older brother is from Germany/Senegal based on his junior college bio last year.

Typical uw-madison guy. Big white guy not very good but has size and potential to be ok in college. His HS teammate Baboucarr Ann is where it's at - do not want him going to madison.

Would be great to add a big Dong to the team. Seems like the Donger has some length.

Hopefully Shaka can wrap this Dong up.

MU has more of a focus on New England prep school players than Wisconsin players. That seems to be Cody Hatt's forte.

It looks like Ndong plays for the same travel team Tyler Kolek played for: the Middlesex Magic.

I'm confident Scoop will handle this news in a mature matter.

I thought all the dope facilities were in Colorado?

Willie is hoping and praying that Ndong comes to Marquette.

Shaka needs to start kowtowing to Rhinelander coaches.

I really don't care where he gets his players but it is interesting. ISU makes Wisconsin a focus and MU seems to focus elsewhere. Different strokes.
