Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

No shame in that; most Nobel laureates don't either.

Pretty ridiculous highlights for a 6'9 HS junior.  Maybe not day 1 impact but Todd Smith would get him where he needs to be.

Hope it is parked in a safe location.

In 2022, 398 car jackings were reported in Milwaukee. That number increased to 463 in 2023 and 513 in 2024 — a 11% increase. Must all be dentists!

Get double that amount and you might reach Milwaukee's record for Motor Vehicle theft rate...which was set in the 1950s

If it's not a Hyundai, Chevy, or a Kia... it won't get jacked.

So Owens has only a 50% chance of his car getting jacked compaired to the 50s.

This is the only reason I don't own a Ferrari. I'm just too nervous it will get jacked.

Chicago led the cities with over 1800 car jackings last year, and although I cannot find the source again, Rochester NY had the greatest % increase in the country. How does Milwaukee's rate compare? Not that I care, but apparently you do, so I would think that you would want to put it in perspective.

Why did you choose to bring this up in the recruiting thread? To warn Owens?

Edit: Crap! Now you have me worried that the team's bus will be bus jacked when they go to Chicago two times. I can see it now-a bunch of kids taking the team bus on a joyride through Chicago's streets.

Anyway, sounds like we are still in on Egbuonu even though he hired an agent. Huh.

Shaka said that recruits don't need an agent because MU pays them all the same and doesn't negotiate.  So, yeah, he hired an agent.  And MU keeps showing up.

It seems like an agent might be helpful for a player wishing to find NIL money outside of the collective.  But I think Shaka's point is that they're unnecessary for collective negotiations since there are none.  And they probably only serve to take 30% (or whatever their fee is) from a player who is looking to sell his NIL.

Well, "basketball" insinuated that Owens got his flashy Dodge due to NIL money. When I attended students living on campus were not allowed to have a car as parking was at a premium and reserved for faculty. Where do students park their cars these days?

I just hope whatever people are talking about here helps recruiting.

Completely off topic, do we feel good about the visit with Alex this week? Maybe a push to get him to see that the real Pearl of wisdom is to commit to Marquette?

I can't keep up with NIL.  For next year schools can divide $20.5 million across their student athletes?
