Spoke to a local high school coach friend of mine who has connections with other coaches in the Madison area. Heard a rumor that he is leaning towards MU, but that is entirely dependent on whether or not Purdue offers him a scholarship. Apparently Painter (Purdue's Coach) was roommates/close friends back in their college days or something? If Purdue makes a push, we might be toast. I don't have any facts to back this up. I'm about 99% certain that Karvala's dad is from Wisconsin. I am not absolutely certain that he has no connection to Painter, but it seems tenuous.

This is an interesting one. He's been at a bunch of games this year, and in MU gear. But I don't know where he stands on the priority list for the staff.

I'm just gonna pray that witnessing a loss doesn't actually have any influence on whether or not Sheek decides to come to MU...

Realistically, I know it shouldn't and likely won't, but losing definitely doesn't help.

These kids aren't 2 years old. I'm guessing unsigned recruits care very little whether MU wins or not.
