As of about 3 weeks ago Trilly Donovan said if he had to pick a team at that moment who would win the Cam Ward sweepstakes it was MU. Don't think that's changed at least yet even with recent commitments especially since our own recruits are still talking about recruiting him.

The elite competition and their nil $$$ will be an obstacle and he is not committing anywhere until December. Could be an uphill battle.

I 100% agree with this.

I would really like to add Cam to this class, but I no longer think it is necessary.
Including the center who is redshirting this year, MU has a 5 freshmen class. A center, 2 forwards and 2 guards. I am very excited to see how this class performs over the next four years.

I am not sure how this class will rank based on their final high school rankings, but I am confident they will exceed their class ranking. It is a perfectly built roster.

In the new world of college sports, with the portal & NIL, it will interesting to see how many of the 5 (yes I'm including Cam) will be playing for MU in the 27-28 season when they will be juniors.
