Need some wings so glad he made a decision early to give Shaka time to spend on those type of players

Everything in that class depends on if Kolek, OMax, Osa are others are still in the program in 2024-25.  Right now a frontcourt player should be a priority, but too much could happen.

Marquette is only looking at wings and forwards in 2024.

I hear the MECCA Sports Bar has good wings.

Top 2, unfortunately #2. More fish in the see. Plenty of forwards and wings still.

Tre Normans comment on Instagram regarding this. "Love you Baby. But it's beef now."

That should be a fun little rivalry

I thought it was wings.

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

Mulready would have been a nice player to land, but MU is loaded with wing guards.

Focus on forwards in 2024 and address guards in 2025.  Obviously, take Knueppel if he wants to come, but he'd be a luxury recruit.

Ellenson Guerrero

Mulready would have been a nice piece but the front court is much more critical. Really hoping we can land Dortch.

@MarquetteMBB commit Zaide Lowery had a stellar showing in La Porte, showcasing a pure stroke from deep, secondary handler/passing skills, and impressive defense on the wing. Undoubtedly boosted his long term stock over the last few days.

This kid is smooth.  Everything looks effortless.  Shaka got a good one.

Excellent!  Ty VW77.

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

I really like Tre Norman, but I like Zaide Lowery even more.  Feels like McNeal vs Matthews all over again.

McNeal was the better player for 3 years, but Matthews caught up in year 4 and shot way past him post-college.

It would not surprise me to see Lowery do the same to Norman.

Those 2 with Gold and Ross and you have 4 potential starters.  Need to one big that is not a prospect but a player

I guess Madison is out if he wants a school that keeps basketball fun.

Is Virginia all of a sudden fun playing that style?  Ask Leon Bond how he likes redshirting his first year?  Tony wins but fun, no

wadesworld

He could probably ask Reece Beekman how  he liked getting 30 mpg as a freshman at UVA too.

ND and Virginia also play slow ball. Is that what he wants? Is he athletic enough to fit into Marquette's fast style of play?

I have my doubts but he's a great shooter and he'd be a helluva weapon.

Again, Shaka recruited David Joplin. To two schools. Athleticism doesn't seem like a deal breaker.
