Even without any inside information, it's easy to piece together the tea leaves.  Norman set an announcement date but had no other visits set at the time.  Now Amadou has an announcement date planned about the same time he will be visiting MU.

Plus, Ben Steele had recruiting articles on both Norman and Amadou, but no other recruiting targets.  That can't be a coincidence.  Plus, there was a recent article about Amadou where his comments on other schools were pretty boiler plate but then he gushed positive things about MU.

Then, you have the recent crystal balls pointing towards...a crystal clear weenie?  Anyway, it's looking incredibly likely that Norman and Amadou join Lowery in MU's 2022 recruiting class.  Kudos to Shaka and his assistants for a job well done.

I think I'm gonna wait til their announcements before I congratulate Shaka for something that hasn't happened yet.
I am not comfortable until they actually sign.

I'm not comfortable until their college eligibility is exausted.

Edit:

Tre Norman is now scheduled to visit Rutgers Sept 2-4. Less than ideal.

So no kudos for landing Norman?

At least not yet.  The Rutgers visit is new information I learned since my original "kudos" post.

A little odd that Norman announced his commitment date awhile ago but now has scheduled a last minute official visit.  I have no idea what it means, but it bears monitoring.

It means more money on the table.  MU needs to pony up or the last minute cash Rutgers is offering could be a problem.

This goes all the way back to when Mike Dean had two top 100 commitments. Then Billingsly(?) changed his mind and went to Tulane. Since then, I do not count them until they sign.

Could have used a good basketball school as a fake visit

How do you know it's a fake visit?  Tre Norman hasn't retweeted this, but how do we know?  Karl Hobbs, the Associate Head Coach at Rutgers, is a native of Roxbury, the neighborhood in which Tre will announce his decision from and where Tre works out, so I could see this being a possibility and Rutgers, under Steve Piikiell has become relevant in college basketball and the Big Ten.  I'm not in a position to say this is fake and I'm not sure anyone on the Marquette boards are in that position unless they have an inside connection and maybe you do.

What is a "fake visit"?

Is it like a silent verbal?

The RU campus is better that the MU campus; done deal!

It goes all the way back to Hank Raymonds and Louisville.

Not only that, but there seems to be a good relationship between Rutgers and Worcester Academy. Dasonte Bowen and Josh Ogundele both recently took official visits to Rutgers before both signed with Iowa.

There is 6 guards all back the next 2 years, granted one or two might leave, but let's say they all stay, in reviewing film does Norman look better than, Jones, Ross and Ellis?

Get used to 3 big guards on the floor together.
