Heard Shaka on His show with Homer say Chase Ross texted Shaka before the game last night and said "cmon....we gotta beat these guys. We gotta sweep Nova!"
Shaka was taken back how involved a HS kid was in a regular season college team. Pretty awesome.

I heard this too.  Shaka also said that his number one criteria when recruiting is to find players that are obsessed with winning.

Certainly seems that they're going to invest their resources shoring up 1-4 with elite talent and take the approach that most 5s are bad as freshmen. Offer up playing time and a winning team to the transfer market for the guys that have proven themselves.

If it pulls guys like Kur (who was NOT at the top of anyone's list) I'm good with this approach

Is he a McDonalds all american or just a nominee? The difference between the two is insanely large. Pretty much everyone in the top 300 or so is a nominee it seems.

He is not on the McDonalds all American team for 2022. Rosters came out week ago.

MU was not in his final list. He is from outside Baltimore and had Maryland and Georgetown in finals.

It seems that Shaka is considering a lot of talented recruits, bigs and guards. Since there are only one or two roster openings, it'll be interesting to see who he signs.

Sure seems to fit the Shaka 5 prototype.  Looks physically ready to back up Oso next year too.
