Or proof of antibodies?

Ticket prices will drop if they actually implement this because too many people won't be willing to get the vaccine.  Thus demand drops significantly.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest the Marquette fanbase isn't rife with anti-vaxxers.

The whole thing about the relationship between supply and demand is you need both.  Supply right now is zero.  Low ticket prices are better than no tickets.

Anyway, looks good for Aidoo.  Interesting that these developments are coming at almost the same time at Mac's.  Coincidence?

Or it's 50-60% occupancy, because people won't get the vaccine.
Either way, not great for MUBB.

We can now label it "Revenge for the Mac"
We got the original Mac (Mcilvaine) instead of UCLA. They are just evening the score.

Hopefully by the time the season rolls around there will have been enough doses of vaccine administered without debilitating side effects that many of the skeptical people will be reassured.  By next Fall that should be tens of millions of people, hopefully more.  If they still want to abstain after that and take a chance with their lives they're not very smart.

I'm guessing Wojo knew Etienne was not coming here and went to plan B, putting the pressure on Aidoo.  Hence all the buzz about him nearing a decision with us getting a lot of projections.

He was down to a group of ten schools.  That doesn't seem like pressure to me.  Rumors of Aidoo going to MU may have moved Entiene to commit to UCLA.  How's that for seeing the world through MU colored glasses?

That's one fine batch of blue and gold kool aid you're brewing, Shooter.

That was a nice dream...for 11 minutes.
There are some coaches I would prefer to play for over Wojo if I were being recruited—-Wright, Tony Bennett, coach K (I'm sure many on here would have a much longer list than I)
Incessantly whining Cronin would never, ever be one!!!

Or maybe Etienne decided to go to UCLA and Aidoo decided to go to MU independently of each other?

Could Garcia's play make a potential commit: (1) See themselves as fitting in, with an inside outside game or (2) See that Garcia isn't long for MU and will be a pro sooner than later opening up playing time?  Or both, as well?

mumi27

Don't know how much it matters with the potential groupthink at this point but a 4th CB for Aidoo to Marquette was put in

247 article on schools in early on 2022 SF Kamari Lands

Lands is from La Porte, Indiana. He will play with Prolific Prep in Napa Valley, CA this year. Previously Stan Johnson recruited Namari Burnett and Coleman Hawkins there. (Justin Gainey of course was an assistant at Santa Clara and U of A recruiting this geography)

While Jeremy Rusotti and Philippe Doherty are still around. Former Marquette assistant, Mark Phelps is the new head coach at Prolific Prep. He is their 3rd coach in three seasons. Joey Fuca amicably stepped down after an elite season to spend more time with his young family.

And how does Kevin Bacon fit in here?

Well, he'll have multiple MU assistants recruiting him now along with Wojo, based on his multiple geographies and new coach, etc...should be interesting.

Be interested to see if Phelps being there helps our case. While he is familiar with Wojo and has known him for a long time, he's also spent time a number of other places, so there are many programs that likely have a similar connection with him.

I don't think it hurts that Marquette was already recruiting him prior to Lands' geographic move, and, MU already has recruited Prolific Prep recently.

As for MU coaches, Phelps has worked with Gainey at both MU and U of A. And Phelps was an assistant coach at N.C. State when Gainey was a point guard there and later when Gainey was a coach there.
