Back to Mane... has he committed elsewhere? If so where?

No, he hasn't committed anywhere.  And the poster who said he'd moved on from MU was joking.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

He has not. I think he won't do anything until NBA draft camps. I don't really see him committing to college until he gets more NBA feedback from the draft process.

Since Oso has a "running" 40 inch vertical, it got me wondering what Ners's was back in the day??

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Mane previously stated that he wouldn't do anything until the season was over. His team is still alive, so the season still continues. They just won Provincials. Not sure what comes after that, but they seem to have a "country" tourney after on the schedule.

But I also imagine it will be based on draft workouts as well.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

You would think he should announce any time. Is he really considering skipping college for the D league? His ranking isn't that high. Would rather see him play four years at Marquette.

I don't think a dude that is seriously considering going pro out of HS is going to spend 4 years at Marquette, even if he should.

I still want Mane in the worst way.  This team needs another option at guard.

So hypothetically if he doesn't commit, how late in the game will we be on other guards?

His ranking is all over the board with the services, maybe partly due to being outside of the US. But he's potentially a top 25 talent. Easily top 50.

If they do not get him, it will be back going for a grad transfer, some work like Carlino, some do not like Chartonney.  Crap shoot.

Lockett ++
Carlino +
Reinhardt +
Chartouny -
Johnson +

I'd say the grad transfer route has worked out pretty well for us.

On the bright side, I like our chances even more now to get Mane because testing the NBA waters will be a challenge and it will be hard to visit any more schools

NCAA has suspended all recruiting until April 15th, could help our chances of getting KM considering other schools won't be able to have him on campus?

I don't think other schools were a threat at this point so I think this only hurts us

I think at this point it is down the Marquette, the draft, or playing overseas. Suspending recruiting only stops one of those three options from making any pitches.

Woulda been awesome if Mane was eligible this past year so he could have played with Markus. Now that combo would have been poised for a deep run in the...umm...never mind.
