Saw a video, has a Big East body, not skinny, looks like a Villy forward.  If you can get him, take him.

I could only find some brief clips so far.  Reminds me of Bailey.

Looks like Pitt is the heavy favorite.

Wow.  Remember when Pitt was good?  They had totally left my consciousness.

I think we need a big man rather than a guard. Especially cuz I have a feeling we're gonna get Mane

Grad transfer market seems to be the place to look to fill that hole. Jayce's experience should be a good selling point for the next Jayce.

Seems like more than a few former Big East schools have not fared well since joining the ACC.

Well Rutgers seems to be doing pretty well in the B1G.

Rutgers football is 21-52 since joining the Big 10.
Rutgers basketball is 79-109 since joining the Big 10.
That's not very good.

Sponge Ruiner!

Vanier is a type of Quebec school called a "CEGEP" /  Collège d'enseignement général et professionnel (College of Genearl and Professional Education). Students in Quebec finish "regular" high school after grade 11. Students who want to go on to university in Quebec must first study at a CEGEP for two years- essentially grades 12 and 13. It's quite high school, not quite college. Rather, a special kind of school that straddles the line between these two. Think of it as a specialized and academically rigorous bridging program between 11 years of high school and university. CEGEP isn't quite a JUCO, in that students who attend are the best and brightest- again it's mandatory for anyone from Quebec who wants to go on to study at a university in Quebec.

In Quebec, CEGEP graduates later complete three year bachelor degrees. CEGEP graduates who go to university in a different Canadian Province (all of which do 12 year high school) usually can enroll directly into the second year of a four-year bachelor degree. Most US universities (including Marquette) will give CEGEP graduates around a year of advanced standing or transfer credit. However, this does not impact athletic eligibility. Or put another way, Mane could possibly start at Marquette with sophomore academic standing, yet freshman athletic eligibility.

In terms of quality of basketball competition at a CEGEP, I'm guessing here, but I think probably no more or less than a typical US high school. Again, CEGEP is a academically-focused college-prep program, unlike JUCOs who often have the reputation of attracting great athletes who were academically ineligible.

Vanier College has both a high school and college/university from what I can gather.  Mane goes to the high school and would come in as a freshman.  Not sure how good the competition is.

Looking like it may be between Kansas and Marquette for Kendall Brown.I think there may be some bad feelings about the last time we went head to head with Kansas for a recruit.

He is taking an official visit to Ohio St. this weekend for the Maryland game. It is his 2nd official visit. His first was MU this past October. He has taken a few unofficial visits to Kansas.

Out of curiosity, is there a source for this inclination?
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Let's just say that there was a 5 star recruit headed to MU, until other$ influenced him to head to Kan$a$.
But the details are a bit fuzzy, as the lead recruiter was drowning his sorrows that particular evening and I was along for the ride.

Well that is interesting in and of itself.

That said, I was curious about the reason the poster thought it was between Kansas and Marquette for Kendall Brown.

Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

From the few interviews I've watched and read of his, is it incredibly naive and stupid of me to think Kendall Brown is a recruit that can't be bought off?

Maybe not, but yeah, probably.

Foster visiting... 2020?

How many green lights can Wojo give out a year?

This would be amazing.

Garcia at 3, Mane at 2, Foster at 4? I could see some transfers in this off-season but hot damn that's the makings of a class head and shoulders above anything we've had in a few generations.

Weird, to visit when everybody is leaving town, makes no sense, must be visiting his parents, will visit next year on an official to get a free trip back home.

Isn't Foster in the Class of '21.
