And possibly the difference between Wojo being at MU next year and not.

He's such an important recruit that new posters have joined Scoop just to push back against the Nojos. Can't risk Mane reading so much negativity about Wojo.

There's a lot of truth to this.

Not so much the first part, but the second part, yeah. I don't want Mane reading posts trashing Wojo or the current players.

It ain't over, but we are in a sweet spot.

Who is the lead recruiter on Mane? Or is it the whole staff at this point?

While I still think this season will end up decently for the program - a Mane commitment to this class would go a loooooong way in easing my tension for the future. Have to think we'd finish with a top 6-7 class in all of CBB with Mane.

Agree. Landing Mane would be huge...and necessary if we have NCAA hopes next year, IMO.

SaveOD238

Is his name spelled Mane or Mané?  I thought I saw the accent mark somewhere in an article (can't remember where).  Would help keep us from forgetting how to pronounce his name (MAYNE vs Muh-NAY)

I would say Stan is the lead. But I would have to imagine it is a full court press at this point.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Muh-NAY

From the interview he did in Quebec recently, I think it's actually Mah-NAY, but it's definitely two syllables with the accent on the latter.

Does anyone know when Mane will announce?

Doesn't matter, the Crystal Ball already made the call and that's all you need

Speaking of which, Jerry Meyer and Chris fisher added crystal ball's for MU

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Thanks for the insight, 83. Glad the impression has been a strong one with the visit.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Yep, it is mah-NAY. Evan Daniels was incorrect when he said Mañe in his video.

Mane has stated he would rather wrap this up sooner than later. With that said, Izzo visited him Monday in Canada. One would presume an official visit gets lined up there. And Penny will be in for visit on 1/29, and a visit would seem to be in play there as well.

So I can't drop the line "REMEMBER THE MANE!!!" (Maine) everytime he scores???

Thanks. I assumed Stan as well, but thought maybe this was Presutti with his ties to Syracuse and its proximity to Canada.

Jake has been doing a lot of the local/in state/regional recruiting (Nelson).
