Are you referring to his perfection of amir? Or dainja/garcia

Damn, you hearing something different up there in the Northwoods? Or more of just a general commentary on the Bowel?

IIRC Miller also had them signing Amir Coffey so I'm not real confidant with his Minnesota recruit Spidey senses.  Would leave them a shooting guard away from a potentially legendary class if it happened though.

He was right about Sacar in MN.....and Greg Elliott in Michigan. Nobody gets them all right.

I know Mark.....I would view this as he is hearing good things about the recruitment of these players and where MU sits with them. He isn't just hitting a button in early March.

As we all know.....until they verbal.....and then sign....nothing is certain.

At this point in time, I need all the good new I can get so, I'm going with Mark.

I get it.  You win some you lose some.  Mark's won more than he's lost so I'll at least take that from it.  If I thought Dainja and Garcia were a coin flip before, maybe his predictions get me feeling 55-60% confidant now.  As small as that may seem, that accounts for all of the good news around the team right now (as Cannon pointed out) so I'll take it.

He only points out his disdain for the Crystal Bowel.  Based in the Twin Cities and I'm waiting for his opinion of Marquette's chances with the Minnesota recruits.

You can make fun of Mark's predictions if you want, but if you talk to him, he says they are hunches for the most par with some knowledge from some of his contacts.  Mark is one of the hardest working people I know and he does his work without an ego.

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

He seems to have perspective...a lot of people trying to make a name for themselves while feeding their egos and/or wallets off of high school kids.

I believe in Mark.  He is genuine.  And a good fan of Marquette.

Very good to hear. I feel like getting him on campus is the real key.

He has already been to campus on an unofficial visit last summer IIRC

Didn't know that. Thanks for that tidbit.

Jamari Sibley is a player. Can defend the 1-5.Would be a great get for MU

Do Johnson and Sibley want to play together?  Or Johnson and Johnson want to play together?

A great athlete with length, but super skinny and a little raw.  Not really a standout ball handler or shooter.  Looked like a taller Jamal Cain with a worse jumpshot.  Can hit midrange and occasional 3.

Tough to tell much from today.  Totally outclassed Elkhorn with size and athleticism.  Saturday will be much better competition.

Kobe Johnson looked a bit rigid.  I do not see a Big East guard.  Jalen will be one and done so they won't play together.

First time seeing Jalen Johnson.......obviously a talent but wasn't all that impressive today.

I know high school kids don't tend to play hard all the time.....especially on defense.....but he really kind if sleep walked his way through the entire first half. Lots of turnovers from dribbling behind his back,in traffic....etc.

I expected him to dominate with his size and athleticism ......maybe tomorrow.

Ps Nicolet is really poorly coached.......

Jalen is an elite talent and Kobe is....well....Jalen's brother.

I'm well aware he is an elite talent.......just expected him to be better today then he showed. Jump shot seems to be weakness.....obviously skilled, athletic and unselfish.

I'm expecting him to be better tomorrow.....thought Washington looked better then Nicolet today.....which pains me to say as an alum.

Reminds me of JP Tokoto, though taller....

A few years ago, scoop had a report tracking the performance of its recruits.  Wish we had such a report now.
