2020 four-star Justin Lewis is taking an unofficial visit to Marquette today, source tells Stockrisers.

Offered by MU this summer.

Marquette was three deep for him in Baltimore just a week ago. Certainly seems like one of our top targets for 2020.

A couple thoughts on Justin Lewis.

1) Lewis is ranked outside the top 100 on most lists.  But Jalen Wilson was also ranked outside the top 100 last summer before rising to top 50 status this summer.  The MU staff evaluation of Wilson was pretty good and maybe Lewis will have a similar rise in the rankings.  Is MU once again  ahead of the curve on the ranking gurus? My gut says yes.

2) With 2020 projected to be a large class for MU, might Wojo work for an early commitment?  Especially with someone the staff feels better than his ranking.  I wonder if Lewis has been identified as that player.

Man, it seems to me these kids are really gambling with their college careers by choosing Louisville. They are looking at serious NCAA penalties. The school essentially plead guilty when they fired Pitino and Jurich, so its not a matter of IF it is just WHEN. I don't know what Mack is telling them but he may torpedo his reputation if he telling everyone nothing is going to happen.

Also, I feel bad for the UofL fans. The ones I have have met are great college basketball fans. They deserve better than what is coming their way but the school deserves everything they are going to suffer.
