Poke fun at the best thing since Al we've had all you want but Jamil's interview today said it all:

"That was MU grit, grind & shine.  That's Marquette toughness. That's what we do"

I miss those days.  Hope they're back soon.

I loved the first five years under Buzz. So much fun to watch, and the program had a ... well ... buzz about it.

Then again, I'm easy. I enjoyed watching most of Crean's teams, too, and I think Wojo is doing a good job.

+ one hundy. One thing you can't say we've been under Wojo is scrappy tough. What's tough about that is it's always been our hallmark

4-star PF from Baltimore, ranked #138 overall. We have a coach from Baltimore right?

With Morrow & Theo I believe the team will have that scrappy toughness

New name I haven't heard yet. Tyson Etienne told Corey Evans that Marquette has been in close contact with him of late.

2019 4-star SG out of Long Island. Currently ranked #151 by 247 Composite.

Let's see what we can do about 'cleaning up' that '19 list by the next monthly update.  Both on and off.  Thanks.

Let's not forget, that was also Kentucky under Billy Gillespie. It's not like he would've been coming in alongside John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins.

This is an excellent point.  The Bulls during a pregame or halftime bit a few years ago I recall seeing Coach Williams interviewed about Jimmy.  Coach Williams said he committed without ever setting foot on campus.  It may have been the same interview where he mentioned the other offers Jimmy received, including Kentucky  and somewhere else. Ole Miss maybe? Or Miss State?

If he checks out our old-timers in Baltimore in a few days, he surely will choose the Warrior Eagles!

It's basically Phenom University without Patrick Baldwin. They will be insanely good. Jabari Sibley, Desmond Polk, Jalen Johnson are all high major players. They will be the best team in the state in any division.

what is the attraction of nicolet?  their head coach-al hansen-what is his attraction?  is it the grouping of players that want to play together?

example-a lot of h.s. football players, if they have a chance, want to play for bill young at catholic memorial.

I think it's the grouping of players. Sibley started at Nicolet, but they all play on the same AAU team, Phenom University. They have had an excellent summer and I'm guessing that Polk transferred to play with Sibley and once they started playing together, they decided to make it a year-round thing.

Hey, if NBAers can build SuperTeams, why not prepsters?

Jalen Johnson moving from Madison to Milwaukee? I like the sound of that. Let's keep that trend going.

Thanks. Do you have a site where these rosters are kept updated? I always feel like its a crapshoot on whether information is accurate or not. The one roster I could find listed Burnett on Dream Vision.

Speaking of Burnett, interview with him from today: https://www.prepcircuit.com/news_article/show/937925

Mentions that Marquette offered, but not included in the list of schools that are most active or that he would like to visit.
