Duke wasn't in the final 3. But Coach K made multiple trips to Rice Lake, late in the process. They were a player. Certainly as much of a player as they currently are for Nico Mannion....which is how this conversation started.

Obviously Duke was not a real player as K deferred to Wojo.  The real competition were KY  and Michigan State.
