I don't know how else to say it, but geez-us, Hagans is exactly what MU needs. Size, skill, man oh man, MU would be a nightmare to match up against.
ESPN recruit stuff says his shot is suspect and has questionable decision making.  Otherwise has a lot of measurables.

I will update the chart. Maybe the kid reads Scoop!

He was the #1 rated PG in 2019 class before reclassifying. At this late stage for 2018, a kid like Hagans becoming available is like finding Willy Wonka's last golden ticket. KU, UK, Duke aren't gonna be options for him. Good on Woj for sending everyone down to GA tomorrow. I don't always agree with Wojo's in game decisions, but he gets after it immediately on the recruiting trail.

Summer play: no shoot ball well. Distributor who can draw contact. Year 1 would project to have a high assist rate, hefty TO%, not an outside threat.

Jerry Meyer also tweeted that we and Georgetown are "pushing hard" for him. Here's another quote:

"Ewing will bring along an assistant"
"Marquette is bringing the entire staff"

Wojo and staff want him bad.

Meyer says Boston College, Florida, Ohio State, Providence, and Wake Forest have also reached out to him since he decommitted from Georgia. This would be a HUGE get.

So, who runs practice if we send the entire staff on Wednesday?
Serious question, don't we have a somewhat meaningful game on Saturday?

You know there are airplanes that can get you places pretty quickly these days right? Especially when you have a private one at your disposal.

That and Rob Judson, who cannot recruit off-campus, has plenty of experience as  head coach and assistant running a practice.

Good move with the name change.

On a team with Markus Howard, Sam Hauser, Jamal Cain and a couple other guys with a decent shooting touch (Froling, Anim, Elliot, Bailey apparently, Joey?) I don't really care if he shoots like Derrick Wilson iso long as he can find those guys when they're open.

GO GET EM WOJ!!!

NCAA has limitations on practices per week (days and hours).  With a Saturday DePaul game and a Monday Georgetown game, I am guessing Wednesday is their off day this week.

In the last few weeks he's been to Texas a couple times and Michigan once. Haven't seen anything about Georgia

Hagens must have a spectacular game to rated the best point in his class in spite of being a deficient shooter.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Not sure who in all is talking to him other than the programs that have since he decommitted, but out of the 7 others that have since he decommitted only Florida scares me, but I'm not sure if there's any bluebloods involved at the moment.

EDIT: since this is weird timing and most or all of the bluebloods already have 5 Star point guards committed for 2018, like somebody else said this presents a great opportunity to get a 5 Star kid because the bluebloods won't even be trying to recruit him at his point most likely which opens the door for someone like us to swoop in. Get him Wojo!
