I owned a place called Sam Dooley's on the west side in the 80's. Al stumbled in one morning before we opened
and asked to use the phone, after that he would always stop in. He gave me a signed picture, one of my prize possessions.
After that Majerus use to come in for two turkey sandwiches, beautiful.

great stories-that must have been when rick was watching the waistline, what? no pizza(s)?

al was the m.c. for my high school sports banquet and rick was the speaker at our white coat ceremony-both priceless                     beyond words.   loved al's, don't you know who i am, "butter guy" story
don't...don't don't don't don't

So who is going to nominate Dunks for a National Alumni Award?

And why hasn't he signed up for the Mentorship Program?
Have some patience, FFS.

Who's gonna man the salsa stand while we are in Canada?  Is Eden going to come out of retirement to serve the Scoop faithful in your stead?

Where can a starving soul get a taste of Eden/Sonoran Salsa while you are on your long range strategy session?

Your Gentlemen's Club was in the Valley of the Sun - the same home to Luke AFB. For decades, the Air Force sent its youth to the Luke Replacement Training Unit to master the art of flying the F 16. The RTU was a Bataan Death March designed to weed out the worthless, the weak, and the unworthy. In those dark, despairing days many fledgling pilots sought solace, comfort, and respite from the agony of flight training in those desert oases where the beer was cold and the flesh was tantalizingly hot.

I have to think were it not for those neon-lit citadels of the free market system that many young men would have abandoned hope and readied himself for a life under the jack-booted heel of Soviet Totalitarianism. It was clubs such as yours that helped the Berlin Wall to come crashing down because American warriors knew exactly what they were fighting for. You served your nation, Dunks. A grateful America salutes you. Marquette should do likewise.

And why, exactly, did you give up this career to push salsa?

At this point I feel the need to ask Dunks if he makes sure everyone washes their hands thoroughly before they touch the product.

What's the status of Dunk's Marquette University Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award paperwork? Scoop has you flying lead on this mission.

Let us know when the award is finalized so i can get my service mess dress uni cleaned up from that last Wing Dining Out. Some of those stains are a real bitch to get out.

I don't feel qualified to do such a thing. I have never met the man, much less possess the knowledge to do justice to Dunk's contributions to Marquette and the world at large.

Here is all you need to know: GM Babes.

I think it would mean more to Dunks coming from you.

You never know where life will take you, when I moved down there I was trying to buy another bar.
Were you  stationed at Luke?
By the way Chick, proper hygiene is a must, sometimes i wear two gloves.

I went through the F 16 RTU at Luke. I can confirm that most student pilots crawled around the ASU bars looking for, uh, targets of opportunity. I had signed my life away to a Marquette girl so those earthier pleasures were denied to me. There were, however, a few promotion parties and bachelor parties which I might have been involved in that included a visit to a club dedicated to gentlemen.

that's true she is a partner with the owner of vivid video. I'd  have to talk to my friend down there, but
I know she has a house in Scottsdale. I met her at a party in passing and that was about ten years ago. Now
I'm off in the morning for our annual fishing trip to canada with real chili 83.
