Are you on your period or do you just have a stick up your ass? As was stated Doc was an all american and is top ten assists and top 5 steals.

Both.  It's been a rough couple of days.

And FYI, Doc was a Converse All American in 1982.  Did not crack any AA teams in 1983.  He's just not in Dean's class, at all.  We can get pretty loose with the details when it comes to AA teams.   Would you call Roney an AA?  Doc benefits from a very good NBA career, a great coaching career and his general post MU popularity.  A much better recruit than player for MU.

That is correct.  UW-madison very good school, certainly better than MU and IU. No one is denying that.
I'd say it also depends on what someone wants to study. If you're a music or business student, IU is better than UW or MU.

If anything, Rivers was a disappointment at Marquette. The fact his number is retired is kind of laughable. Who made that call?

Missed this away for a couple of days.
God bless, my favorite Warrior.

If anyone knows this story help me out. It was on the album in the back of the 71 year book. Al said dean was the best point guard he'd ever seen. "Better than Cousy? 'Yes' he said. 'Better than your brother Dick?' 'Yes.'

Haven't been on here in a week or so and didn't see this. Was not even close to being alive to see Dean but I know that he is an MU legend. RIP Dean.
