I wouldn't say that their resume beats ours by that much.  What helps the computer numbers like NET and KP is the two road wins.  We have none.

I don't think any of those three teams will be top 15 at the end of the season. I don't blame voters for taking that into account.

Just did a little research. Marquette has as many top-50 kenpom wins (4) as five teams ahead of them have COMBINED: Nevada, Auburn, Texas Tech, Virginia Tech, and Kentucky.

Marquette is also one of three teams in the nation that has four top-50 wins and zero sub-25 losses. The other two are Duke and Michigan.

All this, and the reality that many (possibly even most voters) put together a preseason top 25 and then move teams up and down from there. Most didn't have us on their top 25 so its going to take teams above us losing.

Regardless of our ratings, tv loves us.  We have a good looking, exciting team.  Lots of good stories linking the present with the past. Announcers love doing our games.  Especially at fiserv forum. A great place/atmosphere to do commentary...and get paid for it🤑
