Nice. Always better to be ranked than not.

Big games coming up against #2 Kansas, #5 Tennessee (hopefully, because it means we beat Kansas), #12 K-State and #25 Buffalo (very deserving jump up for them).

Also two teams high in "others receiving votes": Indiana and F%cky.

And later on, of course, #8 Nova (and whatever other BEast teams move into the polls by the time we play them).

Sure would be nice if we could keep this ranking for awhile, and even improve on it, but it will require us to beat IU, for starters.

My first grad semester at Marquette was the last time for both the men's basketball program and the MBA program to be nationally ranked.  I always figured they both fell out of rankings because the universe was punishing me personally.  Perhaps this proves otherwise!

Well the women's team was horrible during my four years so definitely pre-2011.

On that note, men's bball, women's bball, and volleyball are all ranked. That I can almost assure you has never happened at Marquette.
