Oso planning to go pro
Wrightsil was closer to a starter than people will likely ever realize. His injury was a real set back. I feel bad for him. Hopefully he can contribute in some capacity late in the season. Its gonna be tough because Gold will continue to improve and he will have plenty of rust.
TAMUI do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.
But now, even if healthy he would be #10.S Jones, Ross, and Gold all ahead of him as well.
I am not a doctor but I play one on Scoop. Pregame in Ft. Myers they were putting him through light 1:1 drills and I'd say he was about 60%. He is visibly walking with a limp due to inflammation. He is not scrimmaging nor is he even participating in pre-game team warm ups. Rest and treatment for now as TAMU and JayBee said with the hope he can get into playing shape over break. Maybe Jimmy John's front of the house workers can provide a more thorough Scoop medical assessment?
I underestimated how big of a factor Ross would be this year. I expected Wrightsil to give us a similar level of production that Ross is giving us now and vice versa. If Wrightsil gets healthy and earns some minutes that can only be good for our team. I’m not really sure whose minutes he would get though currently.
I was wondering last night if he could redshirt being a 5th year senior. I think you may be right.
Yup. Name our player who did that.
The injury to Wrightsil gives Ross more opportunity, which in the long run might be better for us.
Did Shaka offer Wrightsil before or after it was known he'd need knee surgery?
Zach hid it from Shaka...
If true, his scholarship should be cancelled.
Cancel it....
NCAA bylaws would allow it to be cancelled immediately in that case. That said, do we have proof this happened?
Newsie is usually hitting the mamajuana when he posts. And when he's not posting
He could. While he played four years at Loyola New Orleans he got 20-21 back. However, since he played against LIU he has to be medically disqualified for the remainder of the season by a doctor.
Should be easy to find a doctor to say that
"If played, Mr. Wrightsil, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever to have played basketball for Marquette University."
