Because of the Badgers playing Notre Dame at Lambeau, the Packers played their first two games on the road, so the backend of the schedule is home heavy...plus this is their year with nine home games.

The other NFC West titan Seahawks lost to a crappy Washington team. Darnold threw a pick-6.

And the other NFC West superpower 49ers barely scraped by the crappy Cardinals. Purdy didn't throw a pick-6.

The NFL is just plagued with too many penalties, many of them bad, at the beginning of every season. Hopefully it will calm down just like it normally does.
