Quote from: TallTitan34 on September 11, 2025, 07:37:43 PMCharlie said this little girl's death was worth it to keep the second amendment.

He absolutely did not say that.

Poor Rudy. He only got a brief moment of glory as another deserving Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient until having to share the spotlight with Kirk.

"But understanding the irony is not the same as endorsing the act. Recognizing the karmic symmetry does not mean cheering it. What it means is this: when cruelty is normalized, when violence is rationalized, when deaths are rendered acceptable by ideology, eventually the logic boomerangs.

That is the lesson here, the harsh and unsentimental truth. You cannot unleash a culture of violence, bless it as liberty, and then feign shock when it arrives at your own doorstep. The Second Amendment, as interpreted by Kirk and his allies, does not discriminate. It devours indiscriminately.

That is the justice of it. Not divine, not poetic — merely inevitable."

Yes, that's what he said — not what you said.

Do you think it's worth the cost of some* level of car accident deaths, so that we can continue to drive?  If yes, are you cool with kids dying in car accidents?  Of course not.

Lots of twisting of words and taking quotes out of context (not talking about you except in this example).

Worth it.

If your son or daughter or mother or brother or girlfriend died from gun violence, it was worth it to Charlie Kirk.

He literally said this after a school shooting.  No words have been twisted.

Well, of course not.  But all these Christians that tell us it's gods will seem peeved at the left instead of god

Driving a car is a necessity for society to function. Being able to own an assault weapon is not.
