I suggest you take a visit out of your echo chamber.  There is no shortage of violent rhetoric, actions and crime from the left.

Charleston shooting
Unite the right killing
Abortion clinic bombings

Just to name a few. Furthermore university of Maryland ran a study on political violence by political ideology. Right wing domestic terrorism is 45% more likely than left wing. Now the fact that there's any left wing at all is despicable but you're trying to draw an equivalency to deflect blame when there's clearly a significantly bigger problem on one side than the other.

The problem is that this is in the liberal echo chamber and you're not listening to studies from outside that filled with nonsequiters, red herrings and the feelings of enraged white men

I routinely watch news/media from all sides of the spectrum to get an idea of what they are all saying. While there is always blame to be found on both sides, there is a decided difference in the tone and narrative of the different groups out there.

This is a good example of differences. Based on the quote in the article, there really wasn't anything incorrect about what Dowds said, but it was insensitive and inappropriate from a national voice in a time where a family, and friends were grieving. Give people time to grieve, and always respect the sanctity of life.

Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.) took to X on Thursday and vowed to "use Congressional authority and every influence with big tech platforms to mandate immediate ban for life of every post or commenter that belittled the assassination of Charlie Kirk."

Higgins said that any social media accounts from people who "ran their mouths with their smartass hatred, celebrating the heinous murder of that beautiful young man" must come down.
The Louisiana Republican also demanded that any users who posted those "belittling" posts be "banned from ALL PLATFORMS FOREVER."

But Higgins wasn't finished.
"I'm also going after their business licenses and permitting, their businesses will be blacklisted aggressively, they should be kicked from every school, and their drivers licenses should be revoked. I'm basically going to cancel with extreme prejudice these evil, sick animals who celebrated Charlie Kirk's assassination," he wrote.
