A tough schedule pays off
« on: March 24, 2024, 01:16:48 PM »
1. Perfect first half offensively except for turnovers.
2.  Good defense, too.
3.  Rebounds
4.  Colorado is very good.  A run was inevitable.
5.  MU has been here before.  Made plays down the stretch.
6.  Nice game, Chase.
7. Advance, move on.
8. Da Silva is the type of player MU doesn't have yet.  The 6'9 guard slasher
9.  Lampkin is good prep for Burns.

That was as well officiated of a game I’ve seen. Marquette was able to use it to their advantage at the end.

Several days to get Oso to a sports psychologist.  Utterly baffling what we just witnessed

I said 'Barbecue Chicken' when Lampkin switched onto Kolek.   My wife asked what the hell I was talking about.  I laughed and told her.

Colorado has some great talent.

Kam in foul trouble made this game a lot closer than it should have been.

Oso had the opportunity to take over offensively and didn't. Need him to bounce back.

Happy for Chase. Huge game.

Kolek is the man!

I feel our weakness of missing to many free throws and giving up offensive boards will be our downfall but those clutch Jop free throws were HUGE.

really good win. Really good. The guys had their chances to fold but refused to do it. Very proud of them.

He’s gotta believe, he seems tentative, but he showed spots in this game where he took a massive shot and made it.

Or a couple of days to heal for Oso.

Looks more mental to me (not to play armchair psychologist). His inability to be strong with the ball almost cost us the game.

Oso was fine today. He had his hands full defensively with that huge dude and then trying to guard on the perimeter. Some frustrating TOs.

I rewatched WKU game while working out this morning. I still think his knee is a factor. He’s not elevating to catch those lob passes like he has been all year.

It looks physical to me.  But oozing into the mental.

You can thank me for the win again. I watched the last 3 mins only (tied at 74) from an ER lobby.  Wife is fine. Colorado was beatable after all. Survive.  Advance.

We beat an athletic lengthy team with multiple NBA draft choice and a solid coach.

Was an excellent effort from all.

How about a 1985 scenario with three Big East teams in the FF, with us and UConn in the finals.  Marquette pulls a Villanova and shoots lights out win the naty?  Who’s in?
