Observations of the game today
« on: March 02, 2024, 03:38:23 PM »

Jolpin is a turnover machine. Had nice game.
Hope we don't have to depend on Gold for outside shooting.  1-8.
Ross invisible
Kolek gets hurt every year at end of season.  Maybe he gets worn down.
They had too many open shots.  We didn't fight thru.

A game like this is perfect for bringing to light the sad sacks who use sports as another outlet for feeling angry and sad. How could you possibly watch that game and come out of it upset?

I think Creighton could have a list of things they could improve on too. I'm sure their coach will find things to work on.

But for most of this game, MU players took hold of their responsibility without the two leaders they normally rely on.

So the positives far outweigh the negatives and I feel great about the next few weeks although I must admit the injury sickness thing doesn't bode well for UCONN.

He injured his thumb last year when it got hooked on another player's jersey.  That's not exactly a training or endurance issue.
Have some patience, FFS.

Given the circumstances, I thought the guys did very well today. With three minutes left, they still had a legitimate chance but just ran out of gas. I give them very high marks for effort and determination. Stevie just played his ass off, and I thought Zaide Lowery did well. Ben had his hands full but held up pretty well considering he is not used to playing that long at a stretch and must have been exhausted. Nothing to be ashamed of at all.

Don

You forgot to mention that MU and Shaka can’t win in the tournament. Very uplifting post and hope you are another disappointed “fan” in five weeks.

In 2024, Don Kojis would be a plumber.

Take a look at his post history.  Some options include:

-Troll
-Clueless
-Sad sack

I actually don't think he's a troll.

Agree with #2 and #3, and with your conclusion. He's just one of Scoop's Eeyores, but more clueless than most.

They fought hard. Tough game even with TK and Oso. Valuable learning opportunities for the young guys. Let’s see where they go from here.

Don Kojis is a negative nancy.  Didn't have a good post.
Hope we don't have to depend on Don Kojis for some exhilarating analysis.
Don Kojis is now invisible to me.  Love the ignore button.
Don Kojis comes out of the woodwork only after losses.  Maybe he can only stomach crawling out of his hole after MU losses.
Don Kojis, so many opportunities to post something of substance.  Didn't fight thru it.

I really hope you are Don Kojis, you are his son or your 10 bc otherwise using another man’s full name exclusively as your handle is really pathetic.

I think it would have more impact if you went with multiple o’s vs the l’s. I think you are on to something and want you to get all the props you deserve.

Username of OP talking crap about the current roster’s performance today when said OP is named after an individual who wouldn’t sniff D1 hoops in the modern day.
