On a positive note, Tyler’s status as a legend was solidified when his eye gash made Art But Make It Sports last night.

Can't believe he settled on Blue Steel for that photo, I'd have gone a little more bold and tried Magnum

If Ben had taught Kolek the Haka, he could have blended that with the blood streaming down his face for a greater effect. Missed opportunity to get even more national coverage.

That he swished that 3 was one of the more incredible shots this season.

Still not sure why the ref standing 3 feet away from TK didn't stop play; we had possession.

Well, some big east follower Jabroni joined Waddell on sleepers media for recap of the game

Said he’s heard nothing to indicate Kolek has a serious injury. So that clearly means he’s a ok.

Oh, I know.  I completely misread Quentin Grimes body language when we were on that visit with him.

If there is a positive to take away from this, it's that Chase Ross has really been playing well the last couple of weeks. Sure, there would be a drop off from TK, but Ross can also produce, I believe.

With Sean Jones already out, losing Kolek would create a depth issue in addition to the talent and experience issue. In a big game Kolek would play 35 minutes or more and Ross would get his usual 20 or so. Ross would get additional minutes but Norman and Lowery would have to cover some of the rest.

And it’s not just covering minutes. Kolek sets the tone for the whole offense and there is no sugar coating how big his loss would be

Kolek is a first team All American.   Creighton will not give a Chico if he doesn't go.   Training wheels come off for Tre and Zaide.

Yep.  Hope he gets well for the NCAA tournament.  In the meantime, even more experience for the freshman.

Just get healthy TKo!

Or call the foul when he got knocked down on the shot. That whole sequence was nuts. Adds to the Kolek lore though.

I love how sitting TK for the next several games ensures that he is healthy for the tourney…..when no one has an idea the extent of the injury.

I do not think anyone has said anything other than they would prefer if TK rested if not 100%. I hope he is healthy as hell and ready to go on Saturday. That said, if he is not 100%, I hope they seatbelt him to the bench.

Someone explain to me how that blatant cheap shot and clear foul wasn't called?  And they did that on many of our jump shots.   I would like to add a little muscle in the future just to take out guys like Oduro.

He may be ready to go Saturday…..he may not come back….no one knows.

But to say one would certainly accept losses in order for TK to return for the tourney is getting ahead of themselves. No one knows if two weeks of rest ensures a god damn thing.

I'll stick with my opinion on Gold.  He'll be in foul trouble within the first eight minutes.
