I have little concern over what seed MU ends getting. A healthy TK with a 3 seed is far more appealing to me than a 2 seed with a less than healthy TK. This team is built to compete with the top teams in the country and being healthy is top priority, imo. That said, I think they can beat and/or win the next three without TK.

I agree with what you said that can win the next three without Kolek. I believe that @creighton will be harder without TK than at home vs Uconn even though Uconn is better. I think the home crowd wills the team to a win regardless if Kolek is there or now. Winning at Xavier is not easy test but this is a top 5 team and should take care of business.

By stating that you don’t really care about the next three (losses) and BET(loss)…….I wonder how far we would drop on the seed line….

My guess would be a 3 seed, or maybe a 4 if a couple of teams that are currently close pick up 2 or 3 big wins.

Then again, if the NCAA Selection Committee treats an injury to a key player the same as the College Football Playoff Committee, MU might get left out of the field completely.

We are not going to be a 4 seed. It's not going to happen.

They do. Just ask Bob Huggins.

Think our seed would be impacted considerably if MU loses the next 4 without Kolek. Committee may not believe he would be healthy for NCAA in that scenario. Major cause for concern if he doesn’t return before NCAA.

So MU wins it all from a 4 seed with a healthy Kolek.

Just get right for the NCAA Tournament.  While I would prefer to win, I don't really care about the next three or BET.

I’m not?? Just saying that there is no “rest him for the tournament” option as some are alluding to. If he’s not playing, it means he is not healthy enough to play on that day. That’s a concern.

A better question would be why do you hate Stevie?

If there is a positive to take away from this, it's that Chase Ross has really been playing well the last couple of weeks. Sure, there would be a drop off from TK, but Ross can also produce, I believe.

Or, you can look at the season from a wrecked angle.

100% this.

This season is about winning the national title, and even a super-optimistic guy like me thinks we need a healthy Kolek (and Oso and Kam) to do that. Title or bust. March starts tomorrow; the NCAAT is all that matters.

Yeah. Not telling you that. And I know everyone questions sources, but I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t trust the source with the two initials behind his name who is closely associated with the team.
I didn't realize George R. R. Martin was close with the team!
