Will they be wearing patches on their jerseys this year commemorating the 100th anniversary of their last championship?

Will the Brewers wear a "0" patch for having won nothing?

I'm sure the Brewers have thought up another genius marketing campaign commemorating 1982.  Or they may be trying to locate a few more players on the Mitchell Report to add to their roster.

Agreed Navin.  Fans from a team that haven't won a WS in 100 years, making fun of another team that has never won a WS.

At least I don't blame the Brewers woes on a dude with a green turtleneck and a walkman!  ZING!

Almost two decades of losing, Brewer fans have really came back to the team. Way to go! Only one or two more seasons until Milwaukee falls back into the abyss that is Milwaukee sports.

This also coming from someone who used to enjoy Milwaukee sports prior to coming to Marquette.

Ok, it has begun, yet another Milwaukee/Chicago pissing contest.

If Milwaukee is so pathetic go transfer to Loyola, and don't forget to pay the .90 your insignificant state charges to cross the border.

I don't travel that route. Nor was it turning into a pissing match, but okay, go ahead.

I never said Milwaukee was pathetic. I love both cities, unfortunately, being from Illinois I am somehow instantly a target of hatred. Chicago is big, offers a lot more.  Milwaukee is smaller which has its own bright spots.

You my friend are the one that came into a Cubs thread to hijack it. Which is typical...

As a White Sox fan, I will enjoy watching my 2005 World Series Champion DVD this weekend.

(Sorry, couldn't resist jumping in here. I don't hate the Cubs or Brewers.)

Hey Marqptm dont't get  >:(

I apologize for not using the pre-approved sarcasm font color.

I want to stop this before it gets out of control.  With so much typing going back and forth, one of us could develop carpal tunnel syndrome like the Big Z.

Cubs fans have another year of watching overpaid mediocre players screw up in the outfield, along with more dreams being shattered as Prince rocks Wrigley in the 1st game of the season...

just remember, you can grab all the Japanese players you want, you still won't win a world series, have fun paying over-priced tickets to watch the team lose, and you blame it on Bartman, goat, anything else?

So far they only have pin the syringe nights scheduled for Guillermo Mota, Derrick Turnbow, and Mike Cameron.  I really don't get the fascination with signing all these former roid/HGH/banned stimulant users.

just remember Cub fans, when you make fun of the Brewers with these roid players, they just learned from the godfather of steroids, Sammy Sosa... calling all cork bats?

Funny, Sammy Sosa hasn't been named for doing steroids.
