Wisconsin is absolutely dangerous if they hit threes.  That said I fully expect Purdue not to make the F4.

Storr is really really good. He's a piece to build around there

And maybe you should just admit you were wrong Blue, like you were about Villanova.  Beating a crappy Maryland team and a depleted Northwestern team doesn't mean anything.  They deserve the win today but Purdue and Painter helped a great deal.

I guess I was wrong to think that a team that thumped Marquette and then won at MSU had a good chance to win the Big 10 when they had a 2 game lead.

I know you’ve harped on it for 2 months but I have no idea what I said about Villanova that was wrong.

How often do Badger players leave early? They usually find ways to play there until they’re 25.

A lot of chatter about him hitting the portal to get more NIL cash.

It was me who said the stuff about Nova, he took it personally I pointed out that despite Neptunes coaching the team still had a high ceiling given they had wins over:

UNC
Maryland
Texas Tech
Memphis
UCLA
Creighton

Top 50 NET

He stated that Nova had no business being in a game with us (they managed it 2/3 times) and that their players having experience didn't matter. I then ignored that.

No clue on his plans, but any transfer can play next year regardless if they already transferred previously. Think we’ve seen the end of sitting out a year.

They also might lose tomorrow and/or round 1 of the NCAAs. That is the beauty of CBB.

They have the potential to make a run but you can say that about probably 20 teams.

But Galway, they also had brutal losses.  It was pretty apparent to me that they were wildly inconsistent and not going to be much of a factor in the BEast.

USF about to go down to UAB in the AAC semifinals.

Think AAC is 1-bid should FAU win the tourney

That's true they did which is irrelevant to a ceiling, saying a team has a high ceiling with proven potential doesn't invalidate a low low floor. by your logic in 2016 we shouldn't have beaten #6 Providence because we lost to Belmont and DePaul. Some teams are scary when things are clicking and should be respected in case that happens whereas some teams are DePaul & Georgetown.

I don't think being inconsistent is irrelevant to a ceiling.

And that's why I stopped responding to the argument. Bottom line is it was not  Wisblue that you were in disagreement with regarding nova.

Edey refusing to cover the rim all game showing why Purdue is so weak and why Edey isn’t a first round draft choice. Would love for Warriors to be in the same regional.

Serious question from a guy who hasn't seen all that much of Purdue and who didn't see this loss to the Weasels:

Did Edey "refuse" or was that Painter's defensive system/instructions? Seems odd that if Painter wanted Edey down low on D that Edey would just ignore his coach, but maybe that's the norm.

They were concerned about the three so they put Edey on the inbounder. The thought was that preventing the three was paramount, but they also thought they didn’t have time to drive to the hole. And they almost didn’t.

Blue made a number of comments during the MU/Nova game at Fiserv that I profusely disagreed with.
