Maybe thinking that Wisconsin was going to win the Big 10 when they had a 2 game lead wasn't so preposterous.

They are trying to repeat the UConn formula. Take a few weeks off in the middle of the season and finish strong.

Hopefully this will get them to a 5 seed.

Maybe thinking that Wisconsin was going to win the Big 10 when they had a 2 game lead wasn't so preposterous.

They are trying to repeat the UConn formula. Take a few weeks off in the middle of the season and finish strong.

Hopefully this will get them to a 5 seed.

Except UConn was a top-10 offense and defense all year or most of the year.  Wisconsin has not been that this year

They are pretty good. Would have loved to see them against Creighton in a 3/6 though. That would be a fun matchup.

And maybe you should just admit you were wrong Blue, like you were about Villanova.  Beating a crappy Maryland team and a depleted Northwestern team doesn't mean anything.  They deserve the win today but Purdue and Painter helped a great deal.

Wisconsin is absolutely dangerous if they hit threes.  That said I fully expect Purdue not to make the F4.

Purdue will be the first 1 seed to go out next week.  I like Painter, but we'll see how good of a coach he is next year without Edey.
