Idk - butler plays zero defense and we're a wagon at home. Only issue w 12 points is butler won't foul at the end of the game if it's remotely close and we miss out on those freebies.

Teams that face adversity and are able to overcome it can go on to have very successful seasons. UConn 2023 is an obvious example, but there are dozens of others. Including Marquette 2023.

I don't know that Marquette "needed" to be punched in the mouth, and none of us knows if the punching is over, but sure, it could be something that makes our guys stronger. Or not. We'll see!

I said when Marquette lost that it was not a bad loss and more than likely top 15 team. Their schedule is actually on the easier side for the big ten. I'm could see them winning it outright. Wisconsin already has a 2 game lead over Purdue and looking at the schedule Wisconsin could start out 9-0 before heading to Nebraska.

Phoenix though is laughable

Not laughable.   There is constant discussion here about there being no great teams this season.   If Wiscy can keep on keeping on, why shouldn't they have a high seed?   If they are playing well, why not them?
