Turning their back on the Chicago market is another indication of the quality of PGA leadership. Somebody should take over the PGA.     Oh, wait.  :D

It should theoretically play harder this afternoon and on the weekend based on reports.  Rose was -6 at Pebble after round 1 in '19

It's one venue.  Bad phrasing.  Erin Hills in '17.  Another 17 years until the Midwest gets an US Open?  It's bad enough the PGA can't come here anymore.

The fans like train wrecks in the US Open. LACC is a straightforward course so not a lot of hopes to go significantly backward. The USGA  will have more difficult pin placements .
