Turning their back on the Chicago market is another indication of the quality of PGA leadership. Somebody should take over the PGA.     Oh, wait.  :D

PGA is not the USGA

Luckily he’s more of a birdie machine than bogey machine. -2 with just 4 pars is great.

I’m not wrong about Rick.  Winning is great for Team Europe.  Maybe pair him with JT.  Rick could have taken the easy way out and done the sports washing tour but instead stuck it out and worked hard to reclaim his game.  That’s commendable unlike guys like FIGJAM or Brooks who completely disregards the etiquette and rules of the game.

As for LACC North, I’ve played it numerous times.  The USGA could have avoided their championship becoming a pitch and putt had they reigned in equipment years ago.  LACC is anything but “straightforward”.  One time when I played with Johnny Miller, he shot a 62

Cam Smith paired with Scottie Scheffler today. Should be a fun pairing to follow for those at the event.

I love Rico when he is in full mock mode and those being mocked miss the joke.

I’m not mocking anyone.  I would always tell Ali to shut up and box.

As for LACC, I’ve never played the back tees.  I typically shoot in the high 70’s there.  I played there with Dean Cain a month ago.

Xander may not survive the first hole.

Bouncing back.

His re-gripping early reminded me of Bethpage Sergio.
