Absolutely a great job by the bench. Phantom fouls from O'Connell and Anderson led to many bench minutes, and our guys responded.
That bodes well for the dance.

Absolutely love disappointing the legion of UConn fans (what else is there to do in CT? - sell insurance?).

Tremendous gut-check win. The Shaka era continues, and I am willing to ride it.

mu_hilltopper

Holy crap, they said something about Marquette playing on Saturday.

My brain can't fathom that.

FairWeatherEagle

It was an even game in the first half and we did beat them in the second. It wasn't luck at the end but timely defense.

We're for real and if we can avoid a bad matchup and then beat a 1.....we'll be cutting nets.

Un-fooking-sustainable, hey?

Love that!   Or maybe it is!   What a TEAM effort - all helped win this game.   SOTG should be entire team

Did Marquette ever win 30 games?
Tie single-season program victory record when they win tomorrow.

Huskie fans are hairy wet cats.

Seton Hall fans are another thing.

Come on man, Storr is a pretty scary place.

Thanks guys. No finish the job tomorrow!

I really hope this season never ends.  This is just a great ride and this group and Shaka are just amazing.

Have some patience, FFS.

I have been telling my family I do not want this season to end for two months now. Really has been a very fun ride.

I would not have been disappointed had we lost, the boys fought. Having said that, it is so damn sweet to win!

28-1 is the most wins we have had.  Happened in 70-71.

That was a great college basketball game.

I dunno, the major fan accounts on twitter seem pretty respectful of each other.

Love seeing hard fought games like today's. Both of these teams are gonna do damage in March and maybe April. Glad our guys csme out on top

The bench fought their asses off.  They may not have won it, but they kept MU from losing it.

Complete respect.

I'll go so far as to say the bench did win. Sean Jones was chasing their guards all over the floor, trapping and pressing. Chase Ross looked like a veteran. And Jop not only was red hot scoring, but was asked to defend Sangora when Oso got in foul trouble. I'll give each one of those guys a game ball tonight

HowardsWorld

I don't even care if we get a two or three seed as this team is capable of beating any team in the country. There defense was taken to another level today and if the three ball is falling no one can stop us.

Where on campus do they put the Shaka statue??
