1.   One thing consistent for me through Crean, Buzz, Wojo, Shaka..... I hate when the team makes 3's early not in the flow of the offense.    It always seems that they stop falling and then the team struggles to get into the rest of their offense.
2.  Happy birthday, Kam.   And thanks for giving us all a present.
3.  TKo.   So many dimes.  So much leadership.  Thanks for making all of the free throws.  Quit peeking on defense.
4.  I have been saying all along that Stevie should play more.   Love the defense, love the hands, love the heart.
5.   Joplin defends bigs better than he defends wings.   But, I am repeating myself here, too.  And he isn't a play maker.
6.  I really wanted extended minutes for the bench.    I really wanted Ben, Sean, and Chase to play 10+ minutes in the second half.    Alas.
7.   Not the first time the officiating has changed from half to half.      I hope to hear what Shaka said to earn the T.
8.  Kudos to DePaul for bringing it in the second half.    It would have been easy to roll over.     They were the aggressors.   A healthy Ongenda all season would have changed things for them.
9.   What a freaking day of college basketball.    So many upsets, so many comebacks.    MU dodged theirs.
10.  But the tie is clinched.
11.  February fade!     February made.   Even though it wasn't immaculate.

I hope that half convinces DePaul to keep Stubblefield for a decade.

Delighted with our victory . We have a share of The Big East Championship. Let's keep it going and clinch outright .

Big East champs but Marquette lost the second half.

Is Shaka the right guy?  Think Shaka-Deane is on the hot seat

I don't know what it is, but something about him really irks me.

2023 Big East champions. Let's get one more and win it outright.

We have two games to play. COLE.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

The body language of the players at the end of the game .. was no bueno.   I think they knew if the game was 42 minutes long, they'd have lost.  DePaul was roughly unstoppable the final ~7 minutes.

Lol. It was never in doubt.

In last seven minutes, Kolek had 15 of MUs 16 points.  Believe 11 from free throw line.  Only other point was a free throw by Kam Jones.  Thank goodness for great first half, since MU has been a second half team recently.

Nice win, even though some ugly. Congrats to team, hope they win one of remaining two to keep title to themselves.

Yes, Stubblefield is sort of strange dude....No three point attempts at end?  Even Bardo thought that was bad.

Goose

The game was never in doubt. Got out of rhythm early in the second half and not never got back on track. Anyone who thought the game was in doubt, not sure what you were watching.

Obviously, I wanted a 20 point blowout. But, the game was never in doubt and Marquette just won a share of the Big East Championship. Hell yeah!

Now, hopefully they way that game finished will leave them unsatisfied and hungry and propel them to win the next two.

We. Are. Marquette!

Gotta agree with points 1 & 7.

Kind of lost focus 2nd half.

Oso getting his 3rd changed everything.
Shouldn't have been in at that point.     You gamble, sometimes you lose.

It wasn't in doubt because we have the Big East player of the year on our side. He was lights out down the stretch and kept the game in control.

Who's listening to the post-game? Homer keeps saying "chomps" and "chompions"? I'm not a Wisconsite, but am a midwesterner, but that pronunciation seems odd and incorrect.

Either way, MU has guaranteed at least a tie for first place in the regular season! Chomps and champs!!

Better than Bardo continually calling Kolek "Cowlick".

Homer's from Indiana.

Marquette is Big East champions despite being picked ninth.

I like when we make 3s.

Stevie is starting every game and playing 24 minutes per game. Given that he's tasked with cutting the head off of the snake and is an absolute hound for all 94 feet, and given that you want the rotation to be 9 deep so players don't get worn out throughout the season, I think he gets just the right amount of minutes. He puts a lot into the game physically.

Had to turn it off when up 20, then back on only up 6. Shaka mentioned in the postgame a tense interaction between TyKo and OMax, said great teams use it to get better. Anyone able to share what the "altercation" was?
