Marquette gets a lot of love nationally - especially for what ha been a middling program for quite some time.

It also seems that most of the announcers on FS1 and CBSSN have a very favorable view of Shaka.

I agree with this 100%. That said I think he has found his calling. I know we are supposed to hate all announcers but I think he is pretty good.  He should stick with it.

I agree with this, I think he is very good. Understated and knowledgeable, he doesn't intrude on the game.

Back in my days at MU, we thought the MCC refs hated us since joined the conference and then immediately announced we were leaving it.  Seemed like a lot of calls went against us.  I finally figured out that it wasn't the refs; we just sucked then.

It wasn't so much they hated us, it was that it was all rigged for Dayton  :)

Agreed about Lavall.  Thought he did a great job on Saturday.  Outside of Raft, he might have been the best FS1 commenter we've had this year.
