My son called me after the game last night and proposed a trip to NYC. It's under consideration.

If we do it, I might need to buy one (or two) of the F*CK 'EM shirts before we go.

My daughter and I went last year. The hors d’oeuvres were legit and plentiful. We easily made it a meal. It was a fantastic value at just $20 for the entire tournament. I was just disappointed that we only got one game out of it - but it was worth $20 for even just one game.

My son and I just threw together a last minute trip to the Big East Tournament -- Friday and Saturday only. We have our flights, our hotel, and our tickets for Friday night. I'm hoping a victory over UConn on Friday night will result in a glut of available tickets for Saturday night. Go Warriors!

For those who requested tickets through MU, has anyone received confirmation on their tickets?

How do we stand for tiebreakers for BET?

Would we still get the 1 seed even if we didn’t win?

There is a 99% chance Marquette gets the #1 seed with tiebreakers.

Obviously win one and that takes care of that, but I think there’s only one scenario where they lose a tiebreaker? Gotta find the article on it.

Have we added these three to those that hate Marquette?

I wouldn't say they hate us. Uconn has a team thats built for tournament success and was number 2 at one point. I don't view that as disrespect just going with that people thought originally. Creighton/Uconn is a monster first round matchup that I hope they beat the crap out of each other before the Marquette game. As for Creighton they were the favorite coming into the season. Looking at the matchups theres no doubt Marqutte has the harder draw than the 2/3 seeds. Uconn being 5th kind of messes up the bracket as they are not the 5th best team despite the record.

If we're being honest, it's hard to bet against UConn right now.

That said, you know the drill. F*ck em.

Hard to argue with anyone who thinks UConn is a good bet to win it.

The Friday night 1/8/4/5 matchup is probably the real championship game, as I think whoever comes out of that will beat X or Providence on Saturday night.

Pittsburgh is the furthest western school ever to win a BET title.

I just booked my flight and hotel. Questions for those who have attended before:
1. If you buy a ticket for a particular day, is it for all the games that day?
2. If so, can you come and go from MSG?
3. Is it best to buy tickets one day at a time?

Thanks in advance.

Tickets are for sessions. The Wednesday Session 1 tickets are for the three games that day. Session 2 is the two games Thursday afternoon, Session 3 is the two games in the evening. Session 4 is the two semifinal games Friday, Session 5 is the championship game on Saturday.
I have never tried to go in and out during a session but I would be surprised if that was allowed. Obviously the building will be cleared between Sessions 2 and 3, similar to when there are the first round NCAA games in the afternoon and the evening.

Be forewarned:

Don't you know the crime rate is going up, up, up, up, up
To live in this town you must be tough, tough, tough, tough, tough!
You got rats on the West Side
Bed bugs uptown
What a mess this town's in tatters, I've been shattered
My brain's been battered, splattered all over Manhattan

I don't even like breakfast food, but I was getting a ham, egg, and cheese bagel at Bagel Pub every morning the last time I was in NYC.  I believe they are all in Brooklyn, though.
