I don't know how much juice they've generated this year, or if it's going to be a 70% MU crowd but there's not a ton of inventory left. It looks like they're selling the upper deck student sections to the public.

Was kicking around the idea of going, but after seeing so many heinous losses down there in person I think I'll play it safe.

I believe Saturday is Blue Demon Day which seems to be their version of National Marquette Day.

They usually get at least 100 students to attend on Blue Demon Day.

Sooo...Reggie's before the game?

Is this the pregame spot?

Reggie’s is, they have busses that drop off at Wintrust and are within walking distance, so you can street park and walk back after.

That’s what I did last year, and their wings are very good.

I’m doing Au Cheval this year.
It’s been several years and I miss it like heck.
I also had a small cheval experience recently and it was devastating, so I need the real deal.

Might hang around the arena afterwards for a few rounds if my 2 year old allows it.

I bought tickets on Ticketmaster this past weekend. The only seats available for face value were in the uppers behind the hoop. I’m in 219 which looks like it may be student section. But these tickets were open to the public.

Is anyone else in that area?

Officially sold out. Expecting a very electric atmosphere Saturday. Probably a pretty split crowd. Should be a fun one.

Don't expect to be able to get beers. Wintrust is chronically understaffed at concessions

Split as in 50-50?  I’m having trouble seeing how it won’t be 60-70% MU fans.  Seeing articles saying their average attendance is 15-30% of capacity.  I’m sure the additional 70% plus aren’t DePaul fans excited to see MU play

I didn't realize Manny Bates is back for The Bull Dogs. That is helpful for their cause.

Hilarious to me that they’re celebrating selling a whole bunch of tickets to MU fans…

MU should get a cut for filling the place up.

It all evens out, as we don't give UW a cut when they fill up 50% of our arena.

The first comment under the linked tweet says it all-student tickets still available. Limited though.

Just checked StubHub at ticket checkout where you can select which team you are rooting for.  Marquette was a tick under 90%.

So about 90% of StubHub purchases are going to be Marquette fans. Not sure what that means for overall attendance.

For reference, the National Marquette Day crowd on StubHub showed 97% Marquette - 3% Butler.

While you may be right, what that actually shows is about 90% of the people who indicate a preference on StubHub are going to be Marquette fans. That may or may not be representative of all StubHub purchasers -- could be higher; could be lower.

Same. They told me it was a big game through my email, so I had to attend.

Just a reminder to all y'all that are going to wear your GOLD spirit wear. You don't want to look like a DePaul fan from a distance.

Just think how great a Gold Out at the Wintrust will look on TV!

+1 always strikes me how this doesn't seem to dawn on so many people at the game every year.
