DePaul Roll Call
« on: January 21, 2023, 06:20:13 PM »
I figure/hope that there's gonna be a good MU crowd down in Chicago next weekend.  We will be down there with a big group.  Who else is heading there?  Let's keep it rollin'!

IN.

Haven’t gotten my tickets yet, but I see it’ll cost a pretty penny.

I’ve witnessed some devastating losses at these games, hopefully not this time around.

My wife and I will be taking my 2 year old to his first ever Marquette game.

Can’t wait

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Looks like DePaul is running a deal where you can get $10 off with the code BDD23 at depaulbluedemons.com/promo.

Usually would but doing frontier with another couple coming down from MKE.

The real question is if we win what scoopers are up for a karaoke room in Chinatown?!

Duneyrr Fermenta has an innovative wine-beer program. They're 2 blocks south of Cermak on Michigan

https://duneyrrfermenta.squarespace.com/

Google Maps

Tiny place, their first location where they're not co-brewing. Really really good if you're into micro-breweries pushing the envelope

Edit:
If you'd like top-tier food, or even a tasting menu, check out Moody Tongue. Short jaunt from Wintrust, and they picked up 2 Michelin stars

Lot of allegations of sexual harassment over at Moody Tongue. Awesome concept doing beer pairing instead of wine but support at your own risk.

Moody Tongue concept is great.  That chocolate cake is amazing. Beer is waaaaay overrated.

Pinstripes for Bocce after the game for us.  Then dinner in West Loop.

Karaoke maybe late night- it would be a reprise of a horrific performance in Omaha last year by the same crew.  :o. (Back to back nights).

Not offen this game lands on a Saturday. I was in the belief that DePaul called the conference office and wanted this game on a weeknight to avoid all the Marquette fans from filling up their building.

I don't know how much juice they've generated this year, or if it's going to be a 70% MU crowd but there's not a ton of inventory left. It looks like they're selling the upper deck student sections to the public.

Was kicking around the idea of going, but after seeing so many heinous losses down there in person I think I'll play it safe.
