It would be torture to go back and listen to it because I don't remember when exactly he said it, but it was along the lines of ...

"If I were a recruit or transfer, these are THE TWO COACHES I'd want to play for. Blah blah blah. Hashtag I'm Dopey."

So no, he didn't say athletes shouldn't want to play for Bill Self, Shaka Smart and Scott Drew ... he just said McDermott and Cooley were THE TWO. Meaning everybody else is not part of those two.

He didn't say "two of the best," or "two I'd consider." He said THE TWO.

I'm not insulted by it or outraged by it or anything else. It was just something typically dopey by the worst basketball analyst in America, and I relayed it to my fellow Scoopers in a thread titled "Announcers."

If anybody does want to subject himself or herself to re-watching the game with the volume on and transcribing what Dopey said, and if I have misrepresented it, I will gladly apologize for having done so.
